Out of curiosity and a bit of apprehension, we decided to explore the potential of ChatGPT for discovering influencers in the data science field. We asked ChatGPT to provide us with a list of influencers in the vertical, curious to see what results it would generate:

Some people may wonder why they would need to find 500 influencers in a particular field like deep learning, especially if they are a small or mid-size company. However, it's important to understand that the top 10 influencers in the field may not be accessible or interested in working with small/mid-size companies.
Therefore, it can be more effective to start with a large pool of (micro) influencers who are more reachable, such as those with 3k to 10k followers who may be friends / clients/ employees or existing followers on social media of friends/clients/employees.
To succeed in influencer outreach, precision and context are key. It's important to target influencers who are relevant to your product or service and establish a connection with them based on something that is important and fresh to them.
For example, you could target deep learning influencers who have recently talked about "SQL". By doing so, you can increase your chances of building a rapport with the influencer and make a more meaningful connection.
